Wonderful weird one

I wrote this song to celebrate my 10 year old son who has autism. He's doing just fine and is on his own timeline for developments.

I'm sick of the "poor me" songs with parents of autistic kids. Not that there's anything wrong with that, I'm all for expression but its nice to hear something happy for a change.

Wonderful Weird One

You’re Wonderful

Can’t be replaced

Love you in Bucketfuls

Down your Face

Your manners nonexistant

communications quite strained

Floating like a drunken butterfly

A thousand times a day

My wonderful weird one

My wonderful weird one

I’ve never known a wonderful weird love like yours

You’ll never buy what there selling

but you’ll take it all for free

i wish you could share all

wonderful weird thoughts with me

My wonderful weird one

My wonderful weird one

I’ve never known a wonderful weird love like yours

Im sad that I’ll never be

as wonderful as you

do you know how bright your smile is when you walk into the room?

My wonderful weird one

My wonderful weird one

My wonderful weird one

My wonderful weird one

I’ve never known a wonderful weird love like yours
